Team Igloo Girls 4th Grade Captures Mrs. Claus Shootout in their very First tournament ever played as a team.
The girls program for Team Igloo is brand new this year in 2014/2015. And the first ever tournament they played Team Igloo 4th Grade Girls showed their colors by dominating all four games in quest of their very first Championship in the Mrs. Claus Shootout hosted at the Long Island Sports Hub in Syosset. With wins over Team 91 A and B Teams and also two other very talented town teams Igloo kicked off the girls program and year with a overwhelming and unexpected crown as champs. “We are so proud of the girls, their parents, and the coaches; they are a special group. This is why Igloo was the right place for us, a place where family, friendship, hard work, and dedication come together to build something special.” said Head Coach and Girls Director Tim Colbert.
